Chairperson: |

|
He/She will be a senior professional having qualified at
least 20 years before from Army Medical College. He will
have a proven track record of academic and research activity
with at least 15 publications in peer reviewed journals.
He should preferably hold the post of Professor or qualify
for such a post according to PMDC laid criteria. He will be
responsible for directing the Research activities of the Association.
He will select twenty members as per laid down criteria from
the nominees amongst the general membership of the association
and present their names to the Executive committee.

Vice Chairperson: |

|
Vice Chairperson can be appointed by the Chairperson as per
need and requirement in order to assist the chairperson
in his duties. He will be a senior professional having qualified
at least 15 years before from Army Medical College with a proven
record of academic and research activity with at least 10
publications in peer reviewed journals.

Secretary: |

|
He will be a professional having qualified at least 10 years before
from Army Medical College. He will have a proven track record of
academic and research activity with at least 15 publications in
peer reviewed journals. He should preferably hold the post of Asst./ Associate
Professor or qualify for such a post according to PMDC laid criteria.
He will act as coordinator of the council, will be responsible for
maintaining record of the minutes of the meetings, will issue notices
for holding meetings in consultation with the chairperson and will ensure
smooth functioning of the core responsibilities of the council.

Members: |

|
A total of up to 20 members will be nominated by the Chairman
to the R&D wing. They will have a proven track record of academic
and research activity with at least 5 publications in peer reviewed
journals. They may represent any area of health care and all the
specialties should be proportionately represented.
All the office holders and members will be selected for a period of 3 years
The chairperson in consultation with office holders and members will be
responsible to nominate technical subcommittees including:
Ethical committee
Technical committee
Various standing committees as per requirement
The R & D council will be authorized to recruit permanent
administrative and technical staff as per requirement including
Secretarial staff
Technical staff (research officer, statistician, field assistants, computer operator etc)

Acadamic and Research Council: |

|
This will be the main governing body which will be responsible for setting goals,
procuring funding and deciding on long-term collaborative projects.
It will be responsible for decisions regarding disbursement of funds
and deciding upon continuation or termination of research projects.
It will meet atlesat twice yearly at prescribed dates. It will include

2. Chiarman Academic Wing
3. Chairman R&D
4. Vice-Chairman R&D
5. Secretary R&D
6. Finance Secretary AAA
7. Twenty members of R&D.
